What we did and saw:

Had a very nice continental breakfast (including meusli) on the house.

We visited the Rossland Mining museum. Very good. We did the whole works and went underground for a 45-minute tour. We all had to wear hardhats. We saw the veins in the mountain where they mined gold. There is still gold there, but not enough to get out. They had a sluice box set up and we panned for gold after the tour. We only got Pyrite.

Stopped in Osoyoos for a swim before the final leg of the journey.

Arrived home at about 9pm. Nice to be home.
