Left Gracies around 10am. Went out to the Haida museum in Skidegate. Good. Not very big, but some interesting things. There's a really big one being built (see the picture of old and new), to pull in the tourists, due next summer.
Rainy day, not much going on so we hung out in the town Library. Caught the 4pm ferry to Sandspit on Moresby Island. Drove to the airport looking for water. Funny. Airport in the middle of nowhere.
Drove out to Grey Bay. 21km gravel road. Got to a campsite. Strong winds so we set up our tarp to protect the eating area. Worked out fine.

At the campsite, we found a dish cloth that looks exaclty the same as the kind sister Sue makes. We were positive that Brian had stayed at this same site the previous year and left the dish cloth behind. |
