Left the cabin at about 11am. Dropped in a 'Dress for Les' in downtown Tlell and had the best cinnamon buns ever.

Arrived in Queen Charlotte City at about 3pm and checked into Gracies Hotel. Nice, modern, small, expensive, but Gracies a real charmer. We probably used up all the hot water having showers.

It happened to be Tuesday night, so we watched Canadian Idol, as we had been watching it all summer at home.

Queen Charlotte city is the 'white' town on Graham Island. Skidegate, which is just a few kms away is the Haida town. It's been there for a while. I tried to buy fresh fish but couldn't. For some reason I thought I'd be able to go down to the dock and buy it. Ended up having to buy chicken from the grocery store.
