We hung out at the campsite all day. Rented a canoe for the day and went for a few small trips. Bought a fishing rod at the German outfitting camp and gave it a try.
Hot sunny day so we decided to sleep outside on the beach to see the stars. The problem was that we were right in the frog path between the lake and the forest fringe. Had a few frog visitations during the night.

As with all BC backcountry, there's a lot of Germans. The other lodge at the lake is run by Germans. They seem to appreciate the BC wilderness. |
