Travel day. Left Bowron lakes at about 10:30am.
Stopped at Green Lake for a swim. Nice place, but still a bit cold for frolicking.
Took the route through Lilloet. Had thought of stopping for the night there, but decided that being only 3-4 hours away from home, we might as well go for it.
Down through Pemberton and Whister. We had never driven that road before. Not your average highway. Very steep areas at time.
No pictures from this day, so the ones you see are extras from the trip as a whole.

We were following the original highway from Vancouver to Barkerville. It was a rough wagon train to start with, but still the main thorough-fare during the gold rush, and now is a seconday road. |
