Went to Bowron Lake Campground Registration Centre and found out about doing the circuit in a canoe. Watched the video that all canoeists much watch before embarking.
Hiked to Kibbee Lake on the portage trail; the first part of the circuit. Saw a lot of canoeists on our way back (they were just going). Some of them didn't look quite ready for a 7-10 day trip.
Rented a kayak and swam in the rapids, then rented a boat with a 3hp motor and putted around the lake. Everyone drove

The campground where we stayed was the starting point for a lot of trips. Some people did the Bowron lakes route, others did different routes down rivers that drain from the lake. |
